VAAL TRIANGLE - Tiger Brands is accused of continuing to resist accountability for the listeriosis outbreak six years after the crisis. Despite advanced genetic evidence linking contaminated polony from Tiger Brands’ Polokwane facility to over 200 deaths, the company has yet to accept responsibility or settle claims. Briefing the media, Richard Spoor Incorporated’s senior attorney Thamsanqa Malusi says the ongoing legal maneuvers and delays are prolonging the suffering of victims and their families.
