VANDERBIJLPARK - Eight North-West University Vaal campus students were involved in a tragic car accident in the early hours of Sunday, 18 August 2024. Six students died. Two students survived and are in a stable condition at a local hospital. Among the deceased is a student who had recently won an election as an SCC member. Three of the six were 1st year students and the other three were 2nd year students. The community is mourning this significant loss.
