Travel association cautions against possible festive season scams

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Association of Southern African Travel Agents has advised travelers to be vigilant against scams during the festive season. The association’s CEO Otto de Vries highlights that fraud cases tend to peak at this time of year. To avoid falling victim to scams, De Vries recommends ensuring the chosen travel agency is a member of the association. Additionally, he urges travelers to protect themselves by using a credit card for payment, providing an added layer of security for the purchase.
