UIF digital services halted by court interdict

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Unemployment Insurance Fund's digital services have been disrupted following a High Court interdict blocking a service provider from managing the fund's online portals. The Department of Employment and Labour announced the disruption has halted key UIF systems, including uFiling and UIF Covid19 TERS. Extra capacity has been added at physical service points to handle increased traffic. UIF Commissioner Teboho Maruping has urged patience as the department works to restore services.
