SASOLBURG - The Sasolburg Community Policing Forum (CPF) has issued an urgent warning to residents and local businesses regarding a concerning trend of individuals impersonating CPF patrollers in the area. CPF Public relations’ Charissa Griessel said in a statement that in recent weeks, there have been reports of suspicious individuals falsely claiming to be CPF patrollers while engaging in unauthorized activities in the community. Griessel said the CPF takes this matter seriously and is committed to ensuring the safety and security of residents. She urged residents to verify any CPF patroller’s identity before granting access to their property or sharing personal information. Griessel said CPF patrollers should always carry proper identification and be willing to provide it upon request. The Sasolburg CPF advises all residents and businesses to remain vigilant and take precautions to safeguard their personal information and property.
