Water supply interruption to affect Vanderbijlpark on Monday

VANDERBIJLPARK - The Emfuleni Local Municipality says various parts of Vanderbijlpark will be affected by a water supply interruption next week Monday, 18 March 2024. The municipality said in a notice that this is due to the replacement of two broken valves on an inlet pipeline supplying Vanderbijlpark reservoirs. According to the notice, Vanderbijlpark, Tshepiso, Boipatong, Bophelong Extensions, Bonnane and surrounding agricultural holdings will be affected from 07:00 am to 19:00 pm. Affected consumers will still have water supply during the interruption, however, water tankers will be on standby for areas that experience challenges. The municipality apologised to residents for the inconvenience and urged them to always use water sparingly.
