DA Gauteng condemns attack on democracy in Sedibeng council

VAAL TRIANGLE - The DA in Gauteng has condemned what it says is the blatant attack on democratic processes in the Sedibeng Council Chamber. The council sitting on Wednesday was set to elect a new mayor after a successful motion of no confidence, tabled by the DA, was heard against the former mayor Lerato Maloka. The DA’s Sibusiso Dyonase says the ANC disrupting council is a tactic to protect their networks of patronage.
