DE DEUR - The police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder following a shooting incident between two alleged Taxi Associations in Lakeside at De Deur taxi rank, yesterday 22 November. Vaal Times reports five people were fatally shot and five sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. It is alleged that, members of the two taxi associations are in conflict about a route. Meanwhile, the police arrested three suspects in Orange Farm following a shooting incident whereby a passenger of a taxi was fatally shot while the driver was injured. The trio is expected to appear in court soon on charges of murder and attempted murder.
