VAAL TRIANGLE - The Automobile Association says motorists could see a positive start to the new year with significant fuel price reductions. According to unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund, the AA anticipates a decrease of approximately 68-cents per litre for 93-octane petrol and 82-cents for 95-octane. Diesel should drop by around R1,50-per litre, with illuminating paraffin also decreasing by around R1,42-cents. The association attributes the reductions to lower international product prices, offering relief to consumers and benefiting holidaymakers by reducing return journey expenses.
