MIDVAAL - Gauteng MEC for Health, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko today lead the reopening of the Sicelo Clinic in Midvaal, Sedibeng District. The clinic, which was destroyed in a 2017 protest, served over seven-thousand people. The new facility will now focus on preventative care, including mother and child health and chronic illness management. The clinic’s reopening seeks to addresses healthcare access issues, as the community has grown to over 11,000 people. The clinic was built through a partnership with South32 and the SAME Foundation, the clinic aims to reduce strain on nearby facilities.
