VAAL TRIANGLE - Load-shedding returns after some reprieve at the weekend. From today until Thursday, stage 3 will be implemented from 05:00 in the morning until 16:00 in the afternoon, followed by stage 4 until 05:00 the next morning. Eskom says the return of load-shedding is due to the normal expected increase in the demand for electricity during the week, and an increase in planned maintenance. Meanwhile, today unit two at the Koeberg Power Station in Cape Town will be taken down for further maintenance, with its expected return to be in September next year.
