Midvaal implementing planned power interruption today

MIDVAAL - The Midvaal Local Municipality will be implementing a planned power interruption scheduled for today, 9 October. The municipality said this is in order to do some essential work on the 11 kV overhead line. The areas affected are Sicelo, Valley Settlements, Ophir Estates and Kuvukiland. Downtime will be for 8 hours from 08:00 - 16:00 (depending on site circumstances). The municipality warned that the electrical supply must be treated as LIVE during the off period, for safety purposes. Midvaal thanked residents for their patience during the execution of this essential work and said they will do everything possible to keep the downtime as short as possible.
