VEREENIGING - The Transnet’s Phelophepa Healthcare Train has arrived at the Vereeniging Train Station, offering vital health services to the local community from 16 to 27 June. Operating Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:00, the train provides medical care either free or at a minimal cost, making healthcare more accessible to all. Known as a “clinic on wheels,” the Phelophepa train is staffed by qualified healthcare professionals who deliver a range of services, including general health check-ups, dental and eye care, psychological support, and more. The initiative is aimed at reaching communities with limited access to healthcare facilities, bringing quality services directly to their doorstep. Residents are encouraged to make use of this opportunity to prioritise their health without the burden of travel or high costs.
