VAAL TRIANGLE - The South African Postbank says it is struggling to meet the required daily target to meet the March 20 deadline to change South African Social Security Agency gold cards to its new black cards. The bank needs to issue more than 100,000 cards a day to meet the deadline. The new black Postbank cards are part of an initiative to reduce fraud. Calls have been made for Social Development Minister Nokuzola Tolashe to step in and assist in the crisis. Some have also called for the deadline to be moved to a more reasonable date.
