MEYERTON - CERT-SA says two people were injured in a serious accident on Springbok Road in Meyerton yesterday afternoon. The organisation says its Vaal crew received a call after a motor vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon at around 14:50. Upon arrival they found that two motor vehicles collided and there were two patients on scene. One person sustained serious injuries and was still entrapped in the vehicle. CERT-SA said Midvaal Fire and Rescue helped to extricate the patient in record time, and she was transported by ER24 to a nearby hospital. The other patient had sustained moderate injuries but went to the hospital with private transport. The organisation thanked the Midvaal Fire Department , Midvaal Traffic Department , ER24, AfriGuard and A-Assist Towing for assistance on scene.
