Vaal community in shock after sudden death of Grade 11 Dr. Malan learner

MEYERTON - The Vaal Triangle community is in shock after the sudden death of a beloved Grade 11 student from the High School Dr. Malan in Meyerton. The school said in a message of condolence on their Facebook page that Megan Wallace's place is empty, but her memory lives on in every Dokkie heart. The high school expressed its deepest condolences to her parents, Robert and Tanya, and her sister Rochelle, family and friends. Details of her death are not clear, but according to information, Wallace was admitted to Midvaal Private Hospital with pneumonia. However, her condition quickly deteriorated and she was rushed to the Netcare Millpark Hospital in Johannesburg, where she unfortunately passed away. Condolences from various resorts and several other Vaal Triangle schools poured in on Facebook yesterday.
